Overview
Dr Jessica Bindra is a kind and compassionate endocrinologist who is devoted to providing the highest quality of care and empowering her patients. She manages all aspects of general endocrinology with a particular interest in thyroid disorders (including thyroid cancer and pregnancy), hereditary endocrine tumours, diabetes, metabolic health, pituitary, adrenal and parathyroid disease. She graduated from the University of New South Wales with Distinction and has a Master of Medicine in Clinical Epidemiology. She completed her specialist endocrinology training at Blacktown Hospital, Royal Prince Alfred Hospital and Royal North Shore Hospital.
Dr Bindra is concurrently an Honorary Medical Officer at Royal North Shore Hospital, where she regularly attends the Endocrine and Neuroendocrine Tumour Multidisciplinary Team Meetings. She is undertaking her PhD in Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia Type 1 through the Kolling Institute and the University of Sydney. She has been awarded the Royal Australasian College of Physicians Vincent Fairfax Family Foundation Scholarship and the NHMRC Postgraduate Research Scholarship in 2024. She is also a sub-investigator in thyroid cancer clinical trials at Royal North Shore Hospital. She regularly attends and presents at local and international conferences to ensure she remains up to date with evidence-based medicine. She is an active member of the Endocrine Society of Australia, Australian Diabetes Society and the Australia and New Zealand Bone and Mineral Society.
