Overview

Dr Eugénie Lim is a consultant endocrinologist for adult patients and adolescents 16 years and over who are ready for an adult clinic. She practices in all areas of endocrinology including diabetes.

Dr Lim’s overseas subspecialty experience was in endocrine tumours (particularly of adrenal, pituitary, and thyroid glands), endocrine hypertension, and inherited endocrine syndromes (MEN, SDH, VHL). She remains well versed in osteoporosis, thyroid dysfunction, hypogonadism of men and women (PCOS, hypothalamic amenorrhoea, menopause), and both Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes.

Dr Lim is delighted to have resettled in Sydney to help patients with any endocrine disorder, using her skills to explore symptoms and arrive at mutually agreeable management decisions. Her assessments are detailed, and her management recommendations are clear.

Languages: English; Dr Lim values working with translators in other languages for optimal care.

Recent patient feedback for Dr Lim from a new NSEC patient:
“I thought your bedside manner with this matter was so perfect, many thanks for the personal touch.”
